Premier Gospel Awards!
April saw the first ever Premier Gospel Awards take place at The Royal Connections, HUB Studios in East London. Tickets sold out quickly after they were released and around 2000 people gathered together to celebrate the best in UK Gospel music including actors, celebrities, TV personalities, music industry professionals and fans of Gospel music.
There were live performances from Gospel artists and 8 awards were handed out. I was honoured to be asked to present the award "Best Male Artist" alongside my Premier Gospel Radio colleague Charles Koranteng. We presented the award to Faith Child who is currently having an unstoppable year, with his album ‘Airborne’ being one of the most popular of recent times.
